Hopefully, you have either submitted your application to UCAS or you are making your last minute changes ahead of submission. Check your spelling and grammar carefully; be honest, don’t write about anything that you are not prepared to talk about in greater depth at interview. Your teachers will be hoping to get everything completed by Friday 13th October so that they can have their weekend to relax and not be chasing you.
Check for early applicant tests and either ask your school to book your place or book directly. If in doubt, ask your teachers. The universities usually have plenty of past papers so that you can practice. Your score does count, so take the tests seriously and prepare.

Applications for any course at the universities of Oxford and Cambridge, or for most courses in medicine, veterinary medicine/science, and dentistry should arrive at UCAS by 18:00 (UK time.) You can add choices with a different deadline later, but don’t forget you can only have five choices in total.
